摘　　要：20世纪初的美育思潮中,蔡元培是其中的核心力量之一,他的美育思想在文化界、教育界和艺术界得到迅速传播和推广,影响深远。从蔡元培美育思想的形成因素、传播途径、社会影响、推行群体等几个方面入手,探讨蔡元培的美育思想在近现代中国的影响及价值具有学术意义。Cai Yuanpei is a pivotal force in early 20th century aesthetic education currents and his ideas of aesthetic educa- tion are widely promoted and spread in artistic, educational and cultural circles and therefore of great significance. This pa- per attempts to gauge the influence and value of Cai＇s ideas of aesthetic education in modern and contemporary China from several aspects, such as the formation of Cai Yuanpei＇s ideas of aesthetic education, ways of dissemination, social influence, and the agents of promotion.
