翻译美学视角下宋词英译的文化意象再现——以许渊冲《李煜词选》译本为例

摘　　要：宋词中含有大量的文化意象,意象是宋词抒情和审美的重要元素,翻译好宋词必须从翻译好文化意象出发。选取许渊冲先生的英文译作《李煜词选》,举例分析译文中"落花"、"流水"和"梧桐"意象的翻译策略;在翻译美学的视角下,探讨宋词译文中中国文化意象审美的再现。Song poetry contains a lot of cuhural images which is an important element for lyrical and aestheticpurposes. Therefore, the translation of cultural images is of utmost importance in translating Song poetry. Thispaper probes into the translation strategies of cultural images by analyzing the reproduction of such cultural im-ages as ＂fallingflowers＂ ,＂ flowing water＂ and ＂phoenix tree＂ in the Selected Poems of Li Yu by Xu Yuan-chong. From the perspective of translation aesthetics,this paper explores the reproduction of the Chinese cul-tural images in the translation of Song poetry.
