摘  要:大学素质教育是一个具有中国特色的高等教育思想。大学素质教育起始于文化素质教育,文化素质教育在推进大学素质教育进程中,既做出了重要的历史贡献,同时也对全面推进大学素质教育具有重要的启示意义。当前,社会转型对高素质创新型人才培养带来的挑战与冲击、国家创新驱动发展战略对高素质创新型人才的需求与期待以及彻底解决高等教育的沉疴与积弊等,都要求全面推进大学素质教育。深刻认识全面推进大学素质教育的重要性与迫切性,是全面推进大学素质教育的基础与前提;培养与提高大学生的社会责任感、创新精神与实践能力,是全面推进大学素质教育的着力点;将大学素质教育思想贯穿于大学教育教学的全过程之中,是全面推进大学素质教育的核心与关键;加强师资队伍建设,是全面推进大学素质教育的依托与支撑。University Suzhi Education, is a kind of higher education thought with Chinese characteristics, which starts from the cultural Suzhi Education. Suzhi Education in universities originates from the cultural Suzhi Education. In the process of promoting Suzhi Education in universities, cultural Suzhi Education not only made an important contribution to history, but also proved influential in the development of Suzhi Education in universities. At present, the challenge and impact of social transformation on the cultivation of innovative talents with high quality, the demand and expectation of the national innovation driven development strategy to the high quality innovative talents and solve the higher education problems and drawbacks completely that all require to promote the quality of college education. A profound understanding of the importance and urgency of university Suzhi Education is the focus; the university Suzhi Education thought, which throughout the whole process of teaching in university, is the core and key; strengthen the teaching staff, which is the relying and the supporting.
