双脑并能在口译潜能开发中的应用

摘　　要：口译并非人人可以为之,因此研究口译潜能意义重大。文章首先提出双语、记忆、悟性为影响口译能力的三个主要因素;然后依据左右脑分工理论,论证了双脑与双语、记忆、悟性等要素间的关联,进而得出结论:左右脑均发达者,即双脑并能的人是口译工作的理想人选;最后,文章进一步阐述了"双脑并能"理念在口译员的选拔和培训中的具体应用,以期为提高口译人才的选拔和培养效率提供有益借鉴。Not everyone is qualified for being an interpreter. Therefore, to study interpreting potential is of great significance. With a concrete analysis, this paper makes it clear that dual languages, memo- ry and intuition are three essential elements that decide one＇s interpreting competence. Under the guid- ance of Lateralization of Brain Function, the paper elaborates how the two hemispheres of brain are associated with these three elements, thus reaching the conclusion that a potential interpreter should be the one with symmetric laterality. Based on this, the paper proceeds to present in detail how to ap- ply the notion of Symmetric Laterality in locating and training potential interpreters so as to maximize the efficiency of helping potential talents to grow to the fullest extent of their capabilities.
