摘　　要：建设学习型社会已列为全面建设小康社会的重要目标。现代远程教育是建设学习型社会的有效途径和重要支撑。无锡市现代远程教育中心建设学习型社会的实践与探索,具有代表性、可操作性和可复制性。现代远程教育中心建设应主要做好五方面工作:政府主导,统筹规划;准确定位、明确目标;整合资源,打造平台;组织队伍,加强培训;建立制度,形成机制。Building a learning society has been listed as an important goal for building a well - off society in an all - round way. Modem distance education is an effective way of building a learning society and important sup- port. Wuxi modem remote education center construction of learning society of exploration and practice, the repre- sentative, operability, and replication. Modem distance education center construction should be mainly to do a good job of the five aspects ： The government leading, overall planning; Accurate positioning, clear objectives; Integration of resources, build platform; Organization staff, strengthening training; Establishing system, Formation mechanism.
