长泽龟之助的数学翻译交流活动评述

摘　　要：长泽龟之助作为日本明治、大正时期的著名民间数学教育家,在编译数学教科书方面成绩突出,他不仅与本国数学家一同探讨数学问题、合作编译教科书,还和中国及欧洲数学家进行数学翻译的交流与合作.将西方先进教学理念和教材引入日本并应用于教学,同时将自己成熟的教科书编撰法介绍到中国,推动了晚清、民国时期中等数学教育的顺利开展.这些数学翻译交流活动丰富了长泽的数学知识,提高了翻译能力,为他大量编译数学教科书奠定了基础.As a prestigious folk mathematics educator in the Meiji and Taisho Periods, Kamenosuke Nagasawa made preeminent achievements on compiling maths textbooks who not only explored with Japanese mathematicians academic problems and collaborated textbooks but also made exchanges in translation with Chinese and other European scientists. Among them, he introduced advanced teaching mentality and textbooks of western countries to Japan and applied them to his own teachings as well. Meanwhile, he advocated his fully developed compilation methods to China which gave a smooth impetus to the math education in middle schools in China in Late Qing Dynasty and Period of Republic of China. Consequently, these academic exchanges benefited him greatly either in his gaining knowledge or translation skills so as to lay a solid foundation on his later compilation of plenty of math textbooks
