摘　　要：目的了解医学院校大学英语教师教学和科研存在的问题,并提出解决方法。方法采取调查问卷方式对山东省内七所医学院校大学英语教师进行问卷调查并分析。结果教学工作量过多,科研压力过大是医学院校大学英语教师存在的主要问题。结论针对各校情况,制定相关政策,向大学英语教师安排适当的教学工作,给予适当的科研要求,提供促进教学和科研的培训机会,并加大校际合作交流,是促进教学和科研的有效途径。Objective To find out the problems existing in the teaching and scientific research of public English teachers in medical colleges and solutions are put forward. Methods A questionnaire survey was conducted among public English teachers in seven medical colleges in Shandong province. Results The excessive workload and the excessive scientific research pressure are the main problems of public English teachers in medical colleges and universities. Conclusion Some policies should be made for public English teachers, and certain teaching and researching tasks should be given to the teachers, training opportunities of teaching and research should be given to the teachers. The cooperation among Universities should be strengthened in order to improve the teaching and scientific research for the public English teachers.
