On the Mechanism Innovation of Doctoral Training in Social Sciences in the UK: A Case Study of the Scottish Graduate School of Social Science

摘  要:为创新社会科学博士生培养机制,英国2009年开始设置博士生培养中心。苏格兰社会科学研究生院是英国最大的社会科学博士生培养中心,通过协同创新的合作机制、多元的资助机制和卓越的课程机制服务于英国高质量的社会科学博士生培养。苏格兰社会科学研究生院在博士生培养方面成效较为显著,也存在些许问题,为我国当前的博士生教育改革与发展提供如下启示:协同创新式的培养、多元的课程设置和量身定做的培养路径。The United Kingdom (UK) established a number of doctoral training centers (DTC) in 2009 in order to innovate doctoral training mechanism in social sciences. The Scottish Graduate School of Social Science (SGSSS) is the biggest DTC in the social sciences in the UK which serve for high quality doctoral training via collaborative cooperation mechanism, diverse funding mechanism and excellent curriculum mechanism. It is proved that the SGSSS has been effective in training high quality doctoral students in the social sciences, though it has some drawbacks which offers implications for China's doctoral education reform and development: collaborative doctoral training, diverse curriculum and customized training approach.
