摘　　要：近代,同盟会湖南分会长禹之谟深感国力日囧,认为唯有通过开设工厂、兴办教育、开启民智、宣传民主,方能改变命运。禹之谟将自己教育救国理念与社会实践相结合,促进了湖南民众运动的发展和反清革命力量的增长。Modem China was full of poverty and sufferings. YU Zhimo who was the chairman of Chinese Revolutionary League of Hunan province, proposed that people could be enlightened with democracy only through settlement of factory and establishment of modem school. Therefore, after combination of ideal thoughts with social activities by YU Zhimo, the anti-government mass movements and forces in Hunan province had been developed gradually.
