摘  要:针对大学英语教学转向的争议,文章梳理了ESP的概念、教学特征、课程类别、教学目标和方法,从ESP课程设置的宽泛性、大学英语课程的工具性和人文性以及教学对象的差异性等方面阐释了争议的必然因素,并指出争议勾勒出新时代大学英语课程体系蓝图,开启了创造性使用教材的新观念,提升了学习者的主体意识,给新时期的大学英语教学改革带来了契机。In view of the controversy about the turning of college English teaching,this paper has combed the concept of ESP,teaching characteristics,curriculum categories,teaching objectives and methods,From the broad range of ESP curriculum installation,the instrumentality and humanity of college English course and the diversity of teaching objects and other respects to expounds the inevitable factors of controversy. And pointed out that the controversy sketched out a blueprint for college English curriculum system of a new era,opened a new concept of creative use of teaching materials,improve the learners' subject consciousness,brings the opportunity to the reform of college English teaching in the new period.
