摘  要:碳纳米管(CNT)作为场发射阴极(FEC)具有很好的性能。报导了利用粉末状碳纳米管制作CNT-FEC的方法,包括涂布方法、纯化方法和表面处理方法。主要关心的FEC性能为电子发射均匀性、电流密度和寿命。Carbon naontubes(CNT) have excellent electron emission performance as field emission cathode (FEC). In this paper, the method of fabrication FEC with powder CNT, including of affixing, purifying and surface treating, has been reported. The major performance of the most concern are the uniformity of electron emission, current density and lifetime. The raw materials CNT were ground with little balls in alcohol suspension, then were dropped on metal substrate. After hydrogen plasma surface treatment, electron field emission properties of these CNT cathodes were studied using a diode structure with phosphor-coated ITO transparent anode. The results showed that the threshold field is less than 3V/μm; emission site density was about 104/cm2; the emission current density was 1mAl/cm2 at an electric field of 4.4V/μm and the lifetime was more than 800h.
