摘 要:"一带一路"倡议的提出为高等院校人才培养提出了新的挑战,新形势下外语教育文化自觉问题的重要性不言而喻,这不仅是经济、文化合作交流的需要,也是提升国家形象的需要。就外语教育而言,文化自觉的内涵既包含对母语文化的"自知之明",也蕴含着对外来文化的批判性接受和在认识已有中西文化精髓基础上的文化创新。综合考察外语教育文化自觉培养的诉求,我们认为要实现外语教育文化自觉培养的目标,必须秉持恰当的外语教育观、明确教师的任务和角色,从教材建设、资料获取、课堂教学,到课外活动开展、测试评估、社会实践等多方面着手,帮助学生树立正确的文化态度,开辟外语文化教育的新路径。"The Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st-Century Maritime Silk Road Initiative"has made a new challenge to talent training in colleges and universities. It is of vital importance to study cultural awareness in foreign language education to meet the needs of economic and cultural cooperation and exchange and to promote national image. In foreign language education,connotations of"cultural awareness"include knowledge of Chinese culture,critical acceptance of Western culture and cultural innovation based on the essence of both cultures. Based on the present development and the related problems,we argue that in order to improve cultural awareness in foreign language education,it is essential to hold the proper views of foreign language education and roles of foreign language teachers and to take measures in various aspects concerning teaching material preparation,obtaining of extra materials, classroom teaching, extracurricular activities organization, testing students ' performance and college students' social practice so as to help students hold appropriate attitudes to Chines and Western cultures and to blaze a new path in establishing cultural awareness in foreign language education.
