民族地区高职高专英语多模态识读教学法探索

摘  要:多模态识读教学法是新伦敦团体在当今世界文化多元化时代背景下提出的新的教学法,近年来一直受到国内外学者们的青睐。本文通过问卷调查和访谈的形式对我国少数民族地区12个省(自治区或直辖市)的24所高职高专的英语教学现状和问题进行了调查,发现多模态识读教学法对解决我国民族地区高职高专英语教学存在的问题、英语教学法改革、提高学生英语学习兴趣和语言应用能力均具有很大的必要性和可行性。Multiliteracy teaching method is a new teaching method advanced by New London Group in 1996 in present world with multidimensional cultural background, which has been favored by scholars at home and abroad. This paper investigated the current situation and problems in the college English teaching of 24 vocational colleges in 12 provinces (autonomous regions or municipalities) in the ethnic minority areas by means of questionnaires and interviews. As a result it is found that this new teaching method is of great necessity and feasibility for solving the English teaching problems, performing the English teaching reform, improving students' interest and their application ability in English in the mi- nority areas in our country.
