摘 要:汉学家对中国文学作品的译介不仅是中外文学交流的重要桥梁,而且是异域学者解读中国文化的一种独特方式。阿理克和翟理斯的《聊斋志异》译本是俄语世界和英语世界中两个最经典的译本,两位译者都意识到蒲松龄所作序言《聊斋自志》在全书中的重要地位,因此皆不惧艰难,将全文译出,并辅以详尽的注释。通过对两篇译文的细致比读分析,以及宏观视角的译者动机、时代背景、读者定位等因素的考察,不仅可以管窥阿、翟二人对《聊斋志异》及蒲松龄的不同解读,而且可见微知著,探究两位汉学家如何接受和阐释中国文化,比较他们"中国观"的异同。Sinologists' translation of works Chinese literature is not only an important channel of literary communication between China and foreign countries, but also a special way for exotic scholars to understand Chinese culture. Alexeev' s and Giles' s translations of Liao Zhai Zhi Yi are considered as the the most classic versions in the Russian and English worlds. Both of the two translators understood the important role of "The Author' s Preface" in the whole book and translated its full text, adding detailed notes, and examination of the translators' motives, historical backgrounds, and reader orientations from a macroscopical perspective comparison and analysis of these two versions of the translators' motives, historical backgrounds, and reader orientations from a macroscopical perspective, we will not just comprehend Alexeev' s and Giles' s different understandings of Liao Zhai Zhi Yi and Pu Songling, but also explore similarities and differences in "view of China" between these two sinologists.
