摘　　要：随着现代科技的迅猛发展 ,信息资源作为信息产业的基础 ,在信息社会中具有重要的作用。论述了信息资源在当今社会中的重要性及信息社会中高校图书馆的职能 ,并对高校图书馆如何适应市场经济 ,加强信息资源建设等方面进行了论述。With the rapid development of modern science and technology,informationresources are the foundation for the information industry and play an indispensable role in the information society. This article gives us a full account of the importance of information resources and the role of university library in our modern society, in the meanwhile, it recounted how the university library gets used to the marketeconomy and reinforces the construction of library information resources, etc.
