摘 要:鲁迅进入学校兼课,固然与学校开设了一些新的课程却师资匮乏有关,也与鲁迅在中国小说史方面具有相当的造诣有关,但更与民国教育体制有关。鲁迅到大学兼课,主讲中国小说史,积极编写具有现代科学体系的教材,重点在于改写大学小说史教育的既有版图。鲁迅到大学兼课看重的是对新文学发展的直接参与和以此来实现自我的人生价值。鲁迅在大学讲课时,注重的是对学生人格的熏染和提升,由此为新文学培育了传承者。鲁迅在离开教育部之后,并没有进入大学体制内担任专业教师,则与民国政治生态的改变、文化启蒙的诉求无法有效对接、租界相对安全的生存空间和报刊出版业为杂文提供更为广阔的市场等因素有关。Lu Xun's becoming a part time teacher was certainly related to the fact that those universities had opened new courses and thereby run short of teachers. It was also relevant to the fact that he was very well accomplished in the history of Chinese fiction but more relevant to the then educational system of the Republic. While lecturing on the history of Chinese fiction at those universities as a part time teacher he diligently compiled teaching materials with modern scientific system focusing on the change in mapping the history of Chinese fiction. And as a part time teacher he valued very much his direct participation of the development of new literature in order to satisfy the value of life. What he was concerned about was the edification and promotion of the students personality thus nurturing the New Literature inheritors. After he left the Ministry of Education Lu Xun did not enter the university system as a professional teacher which was related to his failure to have an effective connection with the changes of political ecology of the Republic of China. It was also related to the fact that life was relatively safe in the concessions of Shanghai and that the newspaper publishing industry offered a broader market for his essay writing.
