摘　　要：为了全面提高医学生英语综合应用能力,培养具有国际视野的医学人才,汕头大学医学院于2008年开始为一年级学生设置医学英语课程。在深化医学英语教学改革的过程中,演讲教学法成为多元化创新教学模式中的一部分。演讲教学法不仅巩固强化了知识点,而且在锻炼医学生的英语语言表达能力与交流能力、培养批判性思维和临床思维、提高自主学习能力和信息素养等方面发挥了重要的作用。In order to improve medical students＇ comprehensive English application ability and produce medical talents with international vision, Shantou University Medical College began to offer medical English course for freshmen in 2008. In the process of deepening the reform of medical English teaching, presentation teaching method has become a part of the multi-level and innovative teaching mode. This teaching method not only consolidates knowledge but also plays an important role in training students＇ expression and communication ability in English, culti-vating critical thinking and clinical thinking, and improving autonomous learning ability.
