研究生教育的浪漫主义气质

摘　　要：考察18世纪末至19世纪初德国浪漫主义的大学观念,集中表现为通过科学而达至修养;将学术研究视为艺术创造;追求学术自由与大学自治;坚持学术研究与适当教育的统一这几个方面。浪漫主义的大学观念构成一种新型学术卡里斯玛,奠定研究生教育的精神基础,成为研究生教育的核心价值,催生研究生教育的一系列制度形式,推动研究生教育的现代化进程。时至今日,研究生教育仍需秉承浪漫主义的大学理想,坚守对于学术研究炽热的情感;坚守对于学术研究原创性的痴迷;坚守"全人"的研究生教育;坚守学术自由和适当的学术寂寞状态。German Romanticism appearing during the late 18 th to 19 th century emphasizes'Bildung through science'and regards academic research as artistic creation,advocating the integration of teaching and research,and striving for academic freedom as well as university autonomy. Such romantic ideas of the university,being the cornerstone of postgraduate education in Germany,were put into practice via university structural reform and had greatly promoted the modernization of German postgraduate education. Nowadays,it is still necessary for us to adhere to German romantic ideals via rekindling our passion for truth-searching and academic originality,reemphasizing our mission of 'educating the whole person'among postgraduate students,and reevaluating the necessity and importance of both solitude and autonomy for academic life.
