摘 要:be过度生成是英语二语学习者经常犯的一种错误,从形态变异或过度被动化角度不能解释这个问题,最多只是涉及了其中的部分原因,更为关键的是回答为什么be会被过度生成。基于情状体假设来分析,be过度生成可能受动词情状体影响,状态动词可能最容易出现在这类结构中。达成动词和一些完结动词由于表达结果状态,也容易在该结构中出现,它们与状态动词的关系可以借鉴当前关于状态、状态变化及致使状态变化三者关系的理论研究成果、以及Croft对动词情状体的二维描写方法来解释。Explanation of the fact that learners of English as a second/foreign language often overgenerate Be forms can only be partially satisfied by morphological variation accounts or overpassivization accounts.More important is to answer why Be would be overgenerated.To this end,an account of lexical aspects influencing Beovergeneration was proposed on the basis of "Aspect Hypothesis".Following this account,states were predicted to occur with overgenerated be most frequently.Achievements and some accomplishments were also predicted to take Be due to its relationship with states.The relationship was analyzed based on theoretical research related to the relationship between state,change of state and caused change of state as well as Croft's two-dimensional description of lexical aspects.
