摘 要:当前许多研究显示,德国越来越多的应用科学大学很难在短期内填补空缺的教授岗位,聘用到高素质的合格教授。特别是在工程学领域,一部分聘任程序往往由于申请人数太少,或者说能够满足岗位要求的申请人人数太少而在几年内都不能完成。在许多学科,这个严峻的现状也是应用科学大学教授岗位失去吸引力的一个表现。立法者、教育部门和政策制定者应当设法持续性地提高应用科学大学教授岗位的吸引力。否则,这个在世界上被视为成功模式的高校类型就将面临走下坡路的危险。Current study proves that German universities of applied sciences ( "FHs" ) are facing increasingly serious lack of qualified applicants. In engineering sciences particularly, appointment pro- cedures can not be completed in some cases even several years later. In many disciplines, the dramatic lack of promising candidates corresponds with the lack of attractiveness of professorship at those universities. So legislators, ministries of Science and politics should urgently propose intelligent plans to increase it. Otherwise, the German model of applied universities, which is praised worldwidely for its valuable and indispensable contribution to provide the region with highly skilled talents, is at risk. This article discusses important instruments to help to give the FH-professorship a new look, a restored brightness and a sustainable future.
