摘　　要：新疆作为"一带一路"的核心区,社会和经济发展迎来了新的机遇和挑战。语言作为发展中不可或缺的资源之一,其发展更应受到重视。文章分析了新疆高校外语语种开设的现状,从国家安全、经济发展等角度探讨了新疆需要迫切建设的非通用语言种类,并就新疆如何在"一带一路"背景下发挥区位优势和特色,发展非通用语言教育提出了建议。As the central zone of ＂ the Belt and Road Initiative＂,Xinjiang is being confronted with the new opportunities and challenges in its social and economic development. As an indispensible resource in the development,the language is supposed to be attached with great importance. This article analyzes the current status of foreign languages majors in Xinjiang colleges and discusses the urgency of establishing non-universal languages in Xinjiang from the perspective of national security and economic development. In addition,it provides suggestions on how to develop non-universal languages based on the geographic position and characteristics in Xinjiang.
