基于原型范畴和空间隐喻理论的英语介词教学研究

摘　　要：本研究将原型范畴理论和空间隐喻理论运用于英语介词教学,通过与常见的意义加例句的英语介词教学作对比,探讨原型范畴和空间隐喻理论对英语介词教学的作用。实验结果表明:实验组在教学中引入原型范畴和空间隐喻理论后,英语介词习得效果明显优于采用传统介词教学的控制组。因此,原型范畴和空间隐喻理论对大学英语介词教学有积极作用,可以在教学中进一步推广。This study applies the prototype theory and the spatial metaphor theory in college English preposition teaching. By contrasting with the routine method of meaning plus example preposition teaching, this paper explores the effect of the prototype category and spatial metaphor theory on English preposition teaching. The experimental results show that, by integrating the prototype and spatial metaphor theory into preposition teaching, the experiment group have done better than the control group in acquiring the target English prepositions. Therefore, the prototypical category and spatial metaphor theory have some positive effects on the preposition teaching for college English and could be used in teaching vocabulary.
