摘　　要：随着经济全球化进程加快,高等教育国际化成为我国高等教育发展的必然趋势。文章在探讨交通工程专业英语和教学现状的基础上,分析目前课堂中所存在的问题,提出将自主学习专业论文与专业英语课程相结合的教学模式,最后指出在课堂中融入"学生为主体"理念有益于调动学生积极性。With the accelerated process of economic globalization,the internationalization of higher education and training of international talents have become the inevitable requirement of world economic integration,and has become the inevitable trend of development of higher education in China. On the basis of discussing basic situation and teaching mode of traffic engineering specialty English,this paper analyzes the existing problems in the classroom. Besides, according to the implementation of classroom and the effect of special English teaching,the study form is put forward that student should be independent study of professional papers and norms and professional English. The paper concludes that the idea of ＂student-centered＂ in the professional English classroom is helpful to mobilize students to participate in the classroom and improve autonomy of students.
