摘　　要：比喻形象的英译是典籍英译过程中一个比较棘手的问题。在中国文化"走出去"的进程中,中国典籍中的比喻形象英译在一定程度上表明了中国文化是否走得出去,是否走得有效。本文通过《三国演义》两个全译本对于比喻形象英译的实例进行对比分析,探讨了如何处理比喻形象的英译才算是成功的。The translation of figurative image is a sticky problem during Chinese Classics Translation. Against the background of overseas promotion of Chinese literature, the translation of figurative image in Chinese Classics shows, to some extent, whether the promotion is successful and effective. By the evaluation on the rendering of figurative images in the two versions of ＂Sanguo Yanyi＂, how to cope with these figurative images is discussed.
