缺失象牙塔经历的中国大学精神之应然取向

摘　　要：从科举学校转变而来的中国现代大学在面对政府干预和市场经济下的物质诱惑时,缺乏应有的办学自主权。对照西方大学和社会发展互动的表现,可以发现它们虽然加强了和社会之间的互动,但是,在对学术自治的坚守、对外部资源的取舍和对学术环境的呵护等方面仍然做得很好。所以,从历史与比较的视角对照中外大学,并反思中国大学发展的困境和人的精神生活弱化现象,便觉中国大学精神重塑迫在眉睫。从中国传统文化优势和西方先进经验结合的角度来看,中国大学需要从对人本质的坚守、对学术自由的弘扬和学者风骨的重塑几个核心维度重建中国大学精神,指引中国大学发展方向,成就中国大学脊梁,并为民族精神立标。Chinese universities, which were from the imperial schools, are more vulgar antics in the face of thepressure of politics and implements era of material temptation. In contrast, western universities can hold about academicautonomy, take the outside resources freely and protect academic environments when they interact with the society afterthey were out of the ivory tower. From the perspective of historical and comparative contrast between Chinese and foreignuniversities and in reflecting on the plight of the development of Chinese universities, invigorating people＇s spiritual lifeand reshaping the Chinese universities＇ spirit are imminent . Combining Chinese traditional cultural heritage and westernadvanced experience, Chinese universities should rebuild their university spirit from such aspects as insistence on natureof people, upholding of academic freedom and reshaping scholarly manhood to guide the development of Chineseuniversities, to make them become backbone of China and to build up standards for national spirit.
