摘　　要：语用失误是指跨文化言语交际的语用个体由于缺乏相关文化、思维模式、价值观念、社会习俗等方面的知识而导致的交际不能顺利完成的现象。以顺应理论为框架,以语言顺应理论下的语言结构顺应为视角,深入分析英语语用规则及其在言语行为中的体现与汉语语用规则及其在言语行为中的体现,进一步探讨语用规则和语用失误之间的关系,以求寻找言语行为语用失误发生原因的内在途径。Pragmatic failure means a phenomenon where individuals fail in cross-cultural verbal communication because of the lack of relevant culture,modes of thinking,values,social customs and so on. This paper,based on Theory of Adaptation from the viewpoint of linguistic structure,deeply analyzes English pragmatic rules and Chinese pragmatic rules and their occurrence in verbal behavior and explores the relation between pragmatic rules and pragmatic failure with the purpose of seeking the inner reasons for pragmatic failure in verbal behavior.
