晚清代数学术语的翻译及其影响

摘　　要：从术语翻译的视角,比较分析《代数学》(1859)和《代数术》(1873)的术语译名,考察它们在晚清相关代数学著作中的使用情况.结果表明,19世纪中后期形成的代数学术语有70%沿用至今,其来源正是《代数学》和《代数术》.In mid and late 19 th century,De Morgan＇s Elements of Algebra and Wallis＇s Algebra were translated into Chinese.They were representative of the western symbol algebra books.This paper compares algebra terms of the two works mentioned above with terms in others translation of algebra books in late 19 th century.It comes to the conclusion that 70% of the algebra terms in the two works are in use today.
