仆从领导在美国大学教育中的运用

摘　　要：仆从领导具有倾听、移情、愈合、觉醒、劝导、构想、远见、管家、致力于员工的成长及建立社群等特征。仆从领导在西方管理理论中具有深厚的哲学基础,可以追溯到韦伯的感召型领导和麦格雷戈的"Y理论"。仆从领导哲学与中国道家和儒家的领导思想具有高度的一致性,道家的"无欲"、"无私"、"无我"乃至"无身"、"无为",儒家的"修身-齐家-治国-平天下"的"入世"之道与"济世"情怀、"任重而道远"的责任感、建立尧舜之世的使命感和"知其不可为而为之"的理想主义都与仆从领导哲学具有天然的契合性。仆从领导在美国20多所大学及教学机构中的广泛运用:典型案例有哥伦比亚州立大学仆从领导项目和贡萨加大学的"服务-学习"项目。上海财经大学国际工商管理学院结合"优秀本科生导师制"的教学改革,开展了以仆从领导为核心内容的"学习-研讨-实践"活动,增强了学生的学术科研、社会实践能力及服务社会的责任感。Based on Larry C.Spears' s long-term devoted studies,the servant leader has 10 traits,including listening,empathy,healing,awareness,persuasion,conception,foresight,stewardship,commitment to the growth of people,and building community.Servant Leadership has profound philosophy basis in both western and oriental dominant ideologies:some western scholars come up with the idea that Jesus Christ who lived more than 2000 year ago was a typical servant leader,and servant leadership can also be traced back to Max Weber's charismatic leadership and McGregor's " Theory of Y".Some China scholars also propel that there exist a high concordance between servant leadership and ancient China's Taoism and Confucianism.Lao Zi,the profounder of Taoism,regarded it as true that a high level leader,he called him a sage,should give up the pursuit of personal power,promote himself to the realm of " no lust", " no privacy", " no selfishness", " no body",and eventually govern by doing nothing that goes against the nature.The Confucian managing philosophy,which includes going into the society by climbing the ladders of'self cultivation,family harmony,state management and the peace world',undertaking the due obligations by taking "a long way to go",establishing the sense of mission that "realize the ideal world of Yao and Shun's Kingdom",trying hard to the idealism by even knowing the impossibilities,has a high level of integrating degree to the servant leadership philosophy.More than 20 American universities and teaching institutions have carried out the servant leadership teaching experiment;focusing on the analysis of the two cases,the Columbia State University Servant Leadership Project and the Gonzaga University's " Service-Learning" project.After introducing the sporadic experiments of the servant leadership education in Chinese universities,the paper discusses the servant leadership education program to excellent undergraduates in SIBA of SUFA which conclude the process of "learning-discussing-practicing".
