摘  要:随着多媒体技术广泛应用于教学领域,现有的英语教学模式得以优化和改革。借助于声音、图像和视频的多媒体教学等给学生带来视觉、听觉的直观感受,大大增加了学生学习英语的兴趣,有助于对语言的识记理解。但是在目前的大学英语词汇教学中,多媒体教学并没有取得显著成果,原因之一是在多媒体网络环境下,词汇教学缺乏科学的理论指导。以双重代码理论为依据,探索新的词汇教学模式,合理运用多媒体手段,开展有效的大学英语词汇教学,以期提高学生的词汇记忆效率和扩大学生的词汇量。With the development of multimedia technology application in every teaching aspect, college English teaching model has been improved and reformed. With the help of sound, image, and video, muhimedia increa- ses learners interest and stimulate their memory. However, as for the college lexical teaching, multimedia teach- ing assistance hasn' t achieved a considerable success. One of the reasons is that the lexical teaching under the new multimedia circumstance is lack of a scientific theory as a guide. This study, based on the dual-coding theo- ry, researches on the new teaching model and how to use muhimedia technology rationally, in order to promote lexical teaching, improve learners' memory efficiency and enlarge their vocabulary.
