摘 要:当前对中国学生写作连贯性的提升,国内多用衔接、主位结构和主位推进等理论来指导,这些研究局限于英语学习者的语篇内部特征,未能从心理认知机制的角度提升英语学习者语篇连贯性。本文探究如何运用认知语法的突显理论来提升中国学生的英语写作连贯性,主要从小句层面主语的选择、复杂句层面主从的安排、篇章段落层面主题句的安排三个方面展开。The theories of cohesion,thematic structure and thematic progression are often used to improve the coherence of college students' English writings. However,these studies are limited to the internal features of the writings and fail to explore them from cognitive perspective. This paper explores how to improve the coherence of students' English writings using the theory of prominence in cognitive grammar. It focuses on three aspects: the choice of subjects at the level of clauses,the arrangement of main and subordinate clauses at the level of complex sentences,and the arrangement of topic sentences at the level of paragraphs.
