中医药院校在校生及毕业生对大学英语需求的调查分析

摘　　要：通过问卷调查和访谈,了解南京中医药大学在校生和毕业生对大学英语的需求。发现在校生和毕业生均对通用英语显示出较强需求,但工具型动机表现明显;在校生通用学术英语需求较低,毕业生的需求相对较高,被调查者认为学术能力最好通过专用学术英语培养;专用学术英语需求较高,被调查者希望英语教师从语言方面给予指导;不同层次医院毕业生对学术英语需求存在差异。研究结果将有利于正确认识通用英语和学术英语的关系,提高大学英语教学效果。The demands for college English are investigated through questionnaire and interviews inundergraduates and graduates in Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine. Both undergraduates and graduates havestrong needs for English for general purposes（EGP） with obvious instrumental motivation. The graduates showrelatively stronger needs for English for general academic purposes（EGAP） than undergraduates, and therespondents consider that it is the best to cultivate academic competence through English for specific academicpurposes（ESAP）. The demands for ESAP are stronger, and the respondents hope teachers can give some guidesfrom the perspective of language learning. Graduates working in different levels of hospitals have different demandsfor academic English. The results from this study will be conducive for understanding the relationship among EGP,EGAP and ESAP, and improving teaching efficacy of college English.
