摘  要:商务英语专业是英语和商科复合而成的专业人才培养模式。该专业一方面被归为英语专业大类,另一方面涵盖大量的商科课程,因此该专业的学生在身份认同方面可能存在独特之处。针对319名商务英语专业本科生的问卷调查表明,尽管同时涉及两个学科,该专业的学生并不简单地将自己视为英语专业或商科专业的学生,也较少出现学界担心的身份认同缺失现象,而是形成了较强的独立身份认同。因此,商务英语专业未来的发展导向不应该只是英语和商科课程的叠加,而是促进两个学科的有机融合,挖掘核心内涵。Business English is an inter-disciplinary program integrating the fields of English and Busi- ness. It is labeled as an English major but at the same time involves a series of Business courses. Therefore, the identity of Business English students may show its uniqueness. A survey of 319 un- dergraduate students from a Business English program has shown that despite the involvement into two fields, Business English students do not simply regard themselves as English majors or Business majors, nor do many of them show a loss of identity which some scholars have previously been wor- ried about. In fact, they have formed a relatively strong independent identity. In short, the future path for Business English program shall be a perfect integration of the fields of English and Business with the aim of forging its core values rather than a simple combination of English and Business cour- ses.
