摘　　要：荀子哲学思想具有整全性和系统性特征,因此有必要将荀子作为一位系统哲学家来探究。为将荀子理解为系统哲学家,首先必须将其视为一位分析哲学家。这一点得益于已故哲学家柯雄文的相关研究。而整合荀子的分析方法和系统方法,以使我们对于荀子比以往有更加充分而深入的认识,同时进一步揭示荀子体现在其人性、语言、知识、道德和政治治理五位一体主张中的自然与社会有机统一的宏阔视域,则是本文的主旨所在及当前学界一个颇具启示意义的研究理路。这一研究理路,对于全面、完整、公允地认识和评价传统儒家思想具有重要的启示意义。This is a study of Xunzi as a systematic philosopher,emphasizing the holistic and systematic character of Xunzi's philosophy.But this article also indicated that in order to understand Xunzi as a systematic philosopher we have also to appreciate Xunzi as an analytical philosopher in the first place.The analytical character of Xunzi is exhibited by the analytical study of Xunzi undertaken by late philosophical scholar Antonio S.Cua.This article have shown how an analytical approach to Xunzi combined with a systematic approach makes our understanding of Xunzi more adequate and more profound than has been achieved.Xunzi is shown to have achieved his vision of unity of nature and society in his ideas of the unity of human nature,human language,human knowledge,morality and govenance.It is fair to conclude that given our holistic and systematic understanding of Xunzi there cannot be a complete and integrated understanding of the classical Confucianism without this understanding of Xunzi.
