The Perceptual Symbol Systems (PSS) is different from the Conceptual Metaphor Theory (CMT), be-lieves that conceptual representing process is basically "simulated" or "modeled" by sensation directly, rather thana relatively indirect metaphorical link, in which case, the metaphorical connnection between sensorimotor/concep-tual processing shall be a bidirectional one. Recently researches prove that: Behaviorally, there' re bidirectional in-teractions between concept/perception process like Space-Time, Temperature-Social feelings, Cleanliness-Morality,Weight-Importance. In neuro researches, evidences such as the mirror neuron, N400 effect, "Dynamic resonance"phenomenon," Unilateral neglect" phenomenon, and Temperature-Social feeling mechanism, all demonstrate thatthere exists shared mechanism/cerebrum areas between sensorimotor/conceptual processing. Future studies shall fo-cus on the neuroscience aspect to explore further into the mechanism of the conceptual process as well as the PSSmodel.
