Comparison and Analysis of Exercise Contents in Primary Textbooks for Japanese Majors: Taking the Example of Textbooks Used in Eight Foreign Studies Universities in China

摘  要:教材是学习者学习语言知识和获取语言技能的重要途径,练习设计则是教材要实现其教学目标的重要手段。本研究以国内八所高等外语院校所使用的日语专业初级教材为研究对象,通过对其练习题内容的比较分析,考察各教材在设计上的不同特色。调查结果整理如下:(1)从整体比较角度来看,除《综合日语》偏重语言技能练习外,其他教材均偏重语言知识练习。(2)在语言知识练习方面,与语法方面练习相比较,各教材均更注重词汇方面练习。(3)在语言技能练习方面,各教材均非常注重"译"的练习,对于"听"的练习有偏少的倾向。Textbooks are an important way for learners to learnlinguistic knowledge and acquire linguistic skills, while exercisedesign is an important means for textbooks to achieve theirteaching goals. Taking the primary Japanese specialty textbooksused by eight foreign studies universities in China as the researchobject, and through the comparative analysis of the contents oftheir exercises, this paper examines the different characteristicsof each textbook in terms of design. The survey results are sum-marized as follows ① From the perspective of overall compari-son, except for "Comprehensive Japanese" which emphasizeslanguage skills training, other teaching materials emphasize lan-guage knowledge exercises; ② In terms of linguistic knowledgeexercises, compared with grammar exercises, each teaching ma-terial focuses more on vocabulary practice; ③ In terms of lan-guage skills practice, all textbooks focus on the practice of"translating" and have a tendency to have less emphasis on "lis-tening" exercises.
