摘　　要：数字的翻译是口译中的一大难关,尤其是遇到五位数以上的数字。在商贸谈判或外交活动中,数字误译所造成的后果是不堪设想的。本文从理论上分析英汉数字不同的表达方式,及其对译员造成的障碍;总结出数字在英语和汉语中不同的构成阵形,辅助提高口译的速度。Translation of numbers, esp. five-digit numbers or long numbers is a hard nut in interpretation. Any mistakes resulted from business negotiation or diplomatic activities may be disastrous. This paper analyzes the different expressions of numbers in English and Chinese and the corresponding obstacles to interpreters from the theoretical level and a set of efective skills on the promotion of interpretation accuracy are explored.
