摘　　要：通过对照美国《21世纪外语学习标准》(5C标准),结合护理人才培养的要求,探讨这一标准对完善高职护理英语课程建设和一体化课程设计的指导意义。为提高学生的医护背景下的英语交际能力、跨文化素养、人文关怀精神,提出了符合高职护理英语教学特点的新"5C"课程标准,即语言交流(Communication)、跨文化沟通(Cross-culture)、基于内容(Content-based)、比较能力(Comparison)和同情关爱(Compassion)。This paper is about the implications of US Standards for Foreign Language Learning in the 21st Centuryto the vocational nursing English teaching and its significant guidance in developing and designing the vocational nursingEnglish course.By contrasting the ＂5Cs＂ standards with the requirements of the vocational nursing students training,thenew ＂5Cs＂ standards are put forward which is more suitable for the features of vocational nursing English course,including Communication,Cross-culture,Content-based,Comparison and Compassion.
