摘　　要：甾体类化合物主要包括甾体类药物和甾体类保健食品(以甾醇酯为主),是食药领域的重要组成。目前,以油脂加工副产物甾醇为底物,用微生物法合成甾体类化合物的研究颇受关注。本文介绍了甾体类化合物的结构特征、主要种类及以甾醇单体或混合甾醇为底物的微生物合成法,分析工业化生产中存在的瓶颈,以期为油脂加工副产物的高效利用提出新的途径。Steroidal compounds are preferred by the food and medicine industries. They are generally divided into two groups：steroidal drugs and steroidal health food（mainly including sterol ester）. Current studies relating to synthesizing the steroidal compounds focus on microbial methods using the sterols（oils and fats processing by-products）. The present review introduced the structural features and types of steroidal compounds,and further illustrated their microbial syntheses using individual sterol or mixed sterols. The bottlenecks of the mentioned methods further were analyzed to give new approaches for using oils and fats processing by-products efficiently.
