摘  要:Sessile plants are equipped with sophisticated mechanisms to integrate complex environmental signals into the endogenous program for adaptation to surrounding environment. How plants coordinately respond to environmental and endogenous signals is a central question for plant biologists. Plants respond to light signals through an exquisite array of photoreceptors that perceive and respond to a range of wavelengths of ambient light.Sessile plants are equipped with sophisticated mechanisms to integrate complex environmental signals into the endogenous program for adaptation to surrounding environment.
