摘 要:大学英语教材是学生与目的语文化接触的载体,文化自觉使学生认识母语文化和其它文化之间的异同,并且能从不同的参照系反观母语文化,又不盲目排斥异文化或被其同化。本研究基于对大学英语教学中常用的两套主流教材内容的分析,从母语文化和目的语深层文化方面分析大学英语教材中的文化自觉和实现,为未来大学英语教材编写者提出一些在教材中实现文化自觉的建议。College English textbooks are the carriers that enable students to contact with the target culture, and cultural self-consciousness enables the students to recognize the similarities and differences between the native culture and other cultures, and to view their native cuhure from a different frame of reference. At the same time, they could also take a more detached stance toward different cultures, rather than blindly excluse or assimilate. Based on the analysis of the data collected from the college English textbooks, this paper takes the intercultural perspective to study the cultural self-consciousness and its realization, which would help the students raise awareness of the importance of cultural self-consciousness, and provide advice to the future authors of college English textbooks.
