摘 要:文章综合使用量化和质性两种方法对影响日本汉语继承语学习者汉语学习的家庭和动机因素进行了深入探讨。研究发现,在日本华裔家庭中,祖父母对第二代继承语学习者的语言保持和发展起着重要作用,父母对语言的态度和语言水平直接影响日本华裔家庭的语言选择和使用。对于继承语学习者来说,职业发展和交流动机是他们汉语学习的主要动机,自我提升和情感动机为一般动机,外在动机为次要动机。另外,与非继承语学习者进行对比发现,外在动机是他们两者显著差异所在。相对于非继承语学习者来说,汉语继承语学习者外在动机更强,而他们的外在动机主要来源于自己的家庭。By using both quantitative and qualitative research methods, this paper investigates the family influences and mo- tivations bearing on the learning of Chinese by heritage language learners. This study shows that grandparents play important roles in fostering the learning and development of Chinese by second-generation heritage language learners in Chinese-Japa- nese families, and that their parents' language attitude and language level directly influence language selection and use in their families. To heritage language learners, the desire for career development and communication is the main motivation, self-improvement and emotion is the general motivation, and the extrinsic motivation is a minor motivation. In addition, this study shows a significant difference in extrinsic motivation between heritage and non-heritage language learners. Compared with non-heritage language learners, Chinese heritage language learners have a greater extrinsic motivation stemming from family influences.
