摘　　要：GIS开发类课程是地理信息科学专业课程体系中的主要课程,同时培养学生就业的核心技能,课程地位十分重要.分析了地方普通本科高校开设该类课程的特点和目标,并从课程教学基础、教学内容组织、实践教学手段、教学质量提升措施等角度对该类课程的教学实践过程进行了深入的探讨.GIS development courses are the main courses in the professional course system of the specialty of geographic information science,also train the core skills of student employment,therefore it is very important to provide high quality courses for GIS students. This article analyzes the characteristics and objectives of the establishment of such courses in local undergraduate universities and conducts a comprehensive and in-depth study of the teaching practice of such courses from the aspects of teaching basis,teaching content organization,practical teaching methods,and teaching quality improvement measures.
