文化自觉与文化自信教育:跨文化教育的当务之急——从批阅大学英语竞赛翻译试题谈起

摘　　要：文章从大学英语教学中"中国文化失语"现状出发,阐述了文化自觉以及文化自觉与文化自信的关系,论述了文化自觉和文化自信教育在大学英语教学中的重要性,并提出了在大学英语教学中实施文化自觉和文化自信教育的路径。文章指出,文化自觉与文化自信教育是跨文化教育的前提,是提升国家文化软实力的重要途径,是实现大学英语教学可持续发展的基础。文章提出要从教师、学生和教材处理三条路径着手加强文化自觉与文化自信教育。Starting from the problem of the Chinese cultural aphasia in college English teaching, this paper elaborates the significance of cultural awareness and cultural confidence education and makes various suggestions for improvement of it on the basis of understanding what cultural awareness is and its relationship with cultural confidence. It points out that cultural awareness and cultural confidence education is indispensable for implementing intercultural education, promoting national soft power and ensuring the sustainable development of college English teaching. Considering its importance, three ways to boost cultural awareness and cultural confidence education are proposed.
