摘　　要：以美国当代通俗文学作家斯蒂芬·金在中国大陆和台湾地区的译本为个案,探索两岸通俗文学翻译交流的潜力及其制约。研究发现,两岸文学翻译作品呈现出大量相同和相通之处,这反映出海峡两岸译者同受中华文化的沾溉,具有共同的语言和文化基础;与此同时,两岸通俗文学翻译作品之间在语言、风格等方面也存在少量差异,这既有地缘性的原因,也有译者个人的原因。两岸文学翻译作品要想相互通约,必须对部分内容进行调整,才能符合有关的行业标准和读者期待。This paper, taking Stephen King as a case, explores the potential and limitations for cross- strait exchange of copyrights of translated literary works. Thanks to the common language and culture of the Chinese nation, translated literary works from both sides have much in common. However, due to regional and personal reasons, they also bear differences in both language and style. Therefore, to follow the relevant regulations for publication and to meet expectation of the readers, reviews must be made before they are introduced to the other side of the Strait.
