浅谈《道德经》英译文本多样化原因探析

摘　　要：《道德经》是我国古代的经典著作,代表了东方文化的主流。不同文化背景和时代背景下,译者创作出了多样化的《道德经》英译文本。本文认为《道德经》英译文本的多样性受著作原文因素、译者因素、受众需求、社会背景等影响,因而出现了多样化的英译文本,体现了不同译者对文化的不同解读,以及社会历史的发展变化。研究《道德经》英文译本多样性的原因不仅能够深化我们对《道德经》的理解,并且对《道德经》英语翻译意义深刻。As a classic in ancient China, ＂Tao Te Ching＂ repre-sents the mainstream of Oriental culture. Under different culturalbackgrounds and historical backgrounds, translators have createda variety of English translations of ＂Tao Te Ching＂. This paperbelieves that the diversity of the English translation of ＂Tao TeChing＂ is influenced by the original text factors, translator factors,audience needs, social background, etc., thus showing diversifiedEnglish translations, reflecting the different interpretations ofculture by different translators, as well as the development andchange of society and history. Studying the reasons for the diver-sity of the English translation of ＂Tao Te Ching＂ can not onlydeepen our understanding of ＂Tao Te Ching＂, but also profoundlyaffect the English translation of ＂Tao Te Ching＂.
