摘  要:采用中介语对比分析法,以英语本族语学习者为参照,考察中国英语学习者人体多义词隐喻性词义知识特征及其影响因素。数据表明:1)二语多义词习得率不高,母语词汇知识、二语短语知识是中国学习者二语词汇知识的隐性来源;2)与转喻性词义相比较,隐喻义产出数目和比率都远远低于比本族语学习者,隐喻性词义是二语多义词习得的难点;3)最高频隐喻义与本族语学习者相同,但对本族语者低频隐喻义及英汉概念不对等隐喻义的使用严重缺失或不足。分析发现英汉语义范畴结构差异、隐喻性词义生成与加工机制、母语概念迁移和接触频率等是影响二语隐喻性词义习得的重要因素。With a contrastive interlanguage analysis,this paper explores the lexical knowledge of human-body terms of Chinese learners of English in comparison with English native speakers.Data shows that:i) Chinese learners produce much fewer senses than natives and their L1 lexical knowledge and L1 phraseological knowledge make the leading part of their L2 lexical knowledge;ii) Chinese learners produce fewer metaphoric and metonymic senses than native learners in body terms,but the gap is much wider in the production of metaphoric senses,so the metaphoric sense tends to be a more difficult part in the acquisition L2 vocabulary;iii) the highest-frequency metaphoric senses produced by Chinese learners are the same with those produced by native learners,however,Chinese learners have much less or even no production in the low-frequency metaphoric senses produced by native learners or in the senses without a Chinese-English conceptual equivalence.The results suggest that difference in cross-linguistic semantic categorical structure,processing mechanism of metaphorical polysemy,L1 conceptual transfer and L2 learners' exposure frequency to the metaphoric senses,all play significant roles in the acquisition of L2 metaphorical polysemy.
