摘　　要：本文从认知心理空间和概念合成理论的角度出发．通过对英汉对应谚语中运用动物表达进行意义构建的对比，分析在英汉谚语中所运用的动物表达是如何达至内涵意义上的一致，以期促进英汉谚语意义对比和解读的认知研究。This paper, from the theoretical perspective of cognitive mental space and conceptual integration, is supposed to analyze the implication construction of the expressions of animals in terms of the Chinese proverbs and their English versions. Through the contrastive analysis of the relevant proverbs, it is aimed at throwing some light on Chinese and English proverbs in the area of cognitive research.
