翻译过程中的文化缺失与失误的应对策略研究——从李白《静夜思》英译本的误译入手

摘　　要：语言是文化的载体,文化根植于语言。翻译是跨文化、跨语言的活动。译者在翻译过程中除了要保证语言文字语义关系的传递,还要保证文化的传播。由于原文作者与目标语读者生活在不同的社会文化环境中而不具有共同的文化背景知识,所以,要实现在翻译过程中文化的等值传播,是很困难的,又因为译者的个体差异,翻译过程中的文化缺失或失误就会必然产生。以李白《静夜思》英译本切入,通过分析多个文化文本译例在翻译过程中的文化缺失或失误现象,解读其产生的具体原因,并给出相应的解决问题的策略。Language is the body of culture, while culture is the soul of language. Translation conveys the crosscultural communication between languages. In the communication the translators should be responsible for the cultural equivalence in addition to the meaning faithfulness. However, it is difficult for the translators to convey the cultural equivalent to the target language from the source message as the authors have different social values from the readers. As an introduction to the cultural mistranslation of the poem by Li Bai, the causes for the cultural loss will be analyzed in the following paper, and how to solve these problems are proposed in the end.
