摘　　要：国际军事法庭历来备受世人关注,在这一多语审判过程中,翻译行为是决定审判正义性的重要因素。《战争法庭中笔译证据与口译证言:拉锯战》一书从翻译从业者的视角剖析了前南斯拉夫国际刑事法庭中的翻译行为对庭审过程中诸多环节的影响,阐释了法庭译员虽处于庭审各方权利争夺拉锯战的中心,但在前南斯拉夫刑庭的翻译制度和道德规范共同制约下,译员仍能遵循准确、简洁、一致、严肃等翻译原则,确保了各方均享有平等的翻译权利。该书采用全新视角审视多语法庭运作机制,拓宽了多语庭审的研究视阅,引发翻译研究者的深思,也对中国涉外法庭审判有一定的借鉴意义。International criminal tribunals have always been widely concerned. In the process of the multilingual trial, translation behavior is at stake over whether justice could be delivered. The book Translating Evidence and Interpreting Testimony at a War Crimes Tribunal： Working in a Tug-of-War elaborates on how translation behavior affects many aspects of the trial process of International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia and explains that translators/interpreters of the court, though at the tug- of-war between the parties to the trial, afford to follow the translation principles of being accurate, concise, consistent and solemn under the constraints of ICTY＇s translation conventions and norms, ensuring that all parties have equal rights to the translation. Adopting a new perspective into the multilingual court operation, the book broadens the research realm of multilingual trial, arouses the researchers＇ thought on international court translation, and cast light on China＇ s foreigner-related court trials.
