摘 要:基础英语作为英语专业低年级的一门主干课,是促进学生英语语言能力积累的关键课程。建构主义学习理论强调学生的认知主体地位,注重学生认知主体作用的发展和学习能力的培养,这一理论要求英语教育要打破以往教师、课堂、书本为中心的传统语言教学模式,一方面有节制地让步,去分析并满足学生的多种需求;另一方面积极转变教师教学策略、学生学习策略,构建自主学习模式,从而给与学生最大程度的学习自主性,提高教学效果。As a main course in the curriculum for the junior English majors,Basic English is essential to accumulate students' language skills. Constructivism emphasizes that students are the core factor of cognition,and they need to be trained to exert themselves to learn. Therefore,English-teaching is supposed to abandon the traditional language-teaching mode which focused on teachers,classroom activities and textbooks. On one hand,it gives way abstemiously to analyze and meet the various needs of students; on the other hand,teachers' teaching-strategy,students' learning-strategy should be changed positively,and construct autonomous study mode,so that students will enjoy more freedom in acquiring language skills and a better outcome will be achieved.
